Urgent requirement: we are hiring a maintenance and repair technician in Borough of Rochdale, England. The job is on a night shift maintenance crew. On a typical shift you will carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on motors, pumps and gearboxes; align and balance rotating equipment such as fans and shafts; calibrate sensors, gauges and control instruments; weld and fabricate brackets, guards and replacement parts as needed; respond to emergency breakdown calls during shift. You should have: • Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills • Physically fit for lifting, kneeling and standing for long periods • Vocational qualification in industrial maintenance, mechatronics or electrics At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
