Restoration bricklayer • Edgar County, Illinois

Great opportunity: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Edgar County, Illinois. You will work at a renovation and extension job. Day to day you will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays. Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts.
