Tower crane operator — Pike County

Join our team: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Pike County, Kentucky. You will be based on a busy construction site. You will work out the load weight and the lifting radius; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL). You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) 5+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
