Great opportunity: we are hiring a metal roofing fitter in Adair County, Iowa. Day-to-day duties: • Erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling Requirements: • A good head for heights and steady balance • Willing to work outdoors in all weather • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls 6+ years on the tools preferred.
