Immediate opening: we are hiring a punch press operator in De Soto Parish, Louisiana. Ideal candidate: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading Day-to-day duties: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
