The role involves keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; give each garment a final press before packing; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Overtime paid at a premium rate.
