Great opportunity: cnc lathe operator (Ohio)

Join our team: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Allen County, Ohio. You will be based at a busy machine shop. On a typical shift you will write and edit G-code programs at the control; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets. What we are looking for: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $5,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
