Solid plasterer wanted in Kern County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a solid plasterer in Kern County, California. You will work in a refurbishment property. What we are looking for: • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites Your main tasks: • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
