Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in San Juan County, Colorado. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules The role involves lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
