Concrete shuttering carpenter • Northwest Hills Planning Region, Connecticut

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Northwest Hills Planning Region, Connecticut. You will work at an infrastructure construction site. On a typical shift you will watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured. Requirements: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
