Furniture assembler — Coventry

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furniture assembler in Coventry, England. You will be based in a warehouse or showroom for a self-assembly furniture retailer. On the job you will handle: • Install sliding wardrobe doors and overhead track systems • Carry out a final check that every door, drawer and panel is square and stable • Anchor tall furniture to the wall with anti-tip straps and brackets • Use a cordless drill/driver and hex keys to tighten fittings to the right torque Requirements: • Able to read assembly diagrams and manuals accurately • Own tool kit: screwdrivers, Allen keys, spirit level, tape measure, rubber mallet • Willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
