Now hiring: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in City and Borough of Birmingham, England. On a typical shift you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
