Surface coating operator wanted in Newcastle upon Tyne

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. You will work at an automotive components factory. On a typical shift you will hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage; mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape; reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; degrease and clean metal parts before coating. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. £16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
