Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety marshal in City of Falls Church, Virginia. Requirements: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills The role involves inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports.
