GMAW welder wanted in Herkimer County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Herkimer County, New York. You will be based at an automobile body shop. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Willing to work shifts and overtime Your main tasks: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
