Join our team: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Covington County, Mississippi. The role involves inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment. Requirements: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
