Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Northwest Hills Planning Region, Connecticut. You should have: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Day to day you will set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing.
