Horticulturist • Derry City and Strabane, Northern Ireland

Now hiring: we are hiring a horticulturist in Derry City and Strabane, Northern Ireland. You will work in a botanical garden. Day to day you will check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Happy to work outdoors in all weather On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift.
