Slinger signaller wanted in Irwin County

Now hiring: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Irwin County, Georgia. You will be based at a container port. Day to day you will carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; guide loads through tight openings into their final position. Ideal candidate: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
