Argon welding operator • District of Rutland, England

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welding operator in District of Rutland, England. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. You will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
