Escalator technician wanted in Contra Costa County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an escalator technician in Contra Costa County, California. On a typical shift you will top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring 4+ years on the tools preferred.
