Immediate opening: we are hiring a site carpenter in Fayette County, Tennessee. You will cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
