Stainless steel welder wanted in County of Ceredigion

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in County of Ceredigion, Wales. On the job you will handle: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run Requirements: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
