Brickwork mason — Ikole

Now hiring: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Ikole, Ekiti State. The job is on a new-build development. The role involves bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks We offer ₦13,000 per day plus benefits.
