Immediate opening: we are hiring a steam press operator in Greene County, North Carolina. The role involves: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
