LGV Class 1 driver — Powhatan County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a LGV Class 1 driver in Powhatan County, Virginia. You will be based in a refrigerated transport fleet. Day-to-day duties: • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
