Join our team: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Tangaza, Sokoto State. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching On the job you will handle: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension Rotating shifts.
