Vacancy available: we are hiring a TIG welder in Metropolitan Borough of Wirral, England. What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work The role involves set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel.
