Fabricator-welder wanted in Honolulu County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Honolulu County, Hawaii. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Day-to-day duties: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead Six days a week, one day off.
