Furnace operator — Payette County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a furnace operator in Payette County, Idaho. Day-to-day duties: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
