Immediate opening: we are hiring a tyre and wheel fitter in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a roadside mobile fitting unit. Your main tasks: • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Replace faulty valves and reset TPMS sensors • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench Ideal candidate: • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits.
