Ideal candidate: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Your main tasks: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
