Single needle operator — Indiana County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a single needle operator in Indiana County, Pennsylvania. Your main tasks: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Pay around $2,700 per month, based on your experience.
