Assembly operator — City and Borough of Salford

Great opportunity: we are hiring an assembly operator in City and Borough of Salford, England. You will work at a busy assembly plant. On a typical shift you will snap-fit plastic housings and clip in the wiring harnesses; report jams or tool faults to the line leader straight away; follow the work instruction sheet for each station; carry out a visual quality check for scratches, gaps and missing parts; pick the correct parts from the kit bins and feed them to the line; wear an ESD wrist strap when handling circuit boards. Requirements: • Punctual with reliable attendance • Careful handling of tools and components Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer £1,900 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
