Argon welder — Chattooga County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Chattooga County, Georgia. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height The role involves: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
