GTAW welder wanted in Douglas County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Douglas County, Minnesota. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. The role involves TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts.
