Urgent requirement: lathe programmer-operator (New York)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Sullivan County, New York. You will be based in a tool room. On a typical shift you will read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54). Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
