Oven operator — Jasper County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an oven operator in Jasper County, Mississippi. You will be based at a cake shop. The role involves: • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls Requirements: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $200 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
