Vacuum press operator wanted in Franklin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Franklin County, Vermont. The job is in a busy laundry. On a typical shift you will hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; give each garment a final press before packing; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
