Heavy equipment operator (dozer) — Nash County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Nash County, North Carolina. You will work at an open-cast mine. Day-to-day duties: • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site You should have: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
