Immediate opening: coating plant operator (New York)

Now hiring: we are hiring a coating plant operator in Oneida County, New York. You will be based on an industrial coating line. Your main tasks: • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes 6+ years on the tools preferred.
