We are recruiting: we are hiring a brickwork mason in City of Emporia, Virginia. The job is at a renovation and extension job. You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding The role involves pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts.
