Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Linn County, Missouri. You will weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits.
