Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cook in Shelby County, Illinois. You will work at a fast-food outlet. What we are looking for: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat The role involves prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service.
