Immediate opening: we are hiring a groundworker in Kibiya, Kano State. The job is on a high-rise construction site. What we are looking for: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage Your main tasks: • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
