Floor screeder — Freestone County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a floor screeder in Freestone County, Texas. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. Day-to-day duties: • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
