Great opportunity: we are hiring a moulder in Holmes County, Ohio. The role involves check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
