Your main tasks: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator You should have: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings 6+ years on the tools preferred.
