Urgent requirement: refrigeration and appliance technician (Scotland)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration and appliance technician in West Lothian, Scotland. You will work in a customer's kitchen or utility room. Ideal candidate: • City & Guilds or NVQ in appliance servicing or electrical installation • Up to date with PAT testing and electrical safety regulations Day-to-day duties: • Order replacement parts from spare parts catalogues and suppliers • Advise customers on appliance care and preventive maintenance • Replace worn drum bearings, seals and belts on washing machines • Reprogram and calibrate electronic control boards and displays • Carry out safe isolation of mains power before opening any casing • Lift and transport heavy appliances safely using trolleys and straps Full-time with occasional weekends.
