Immediate opening: concrete shuttering carpenter (New York)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Schoharie County, New York. The job is on a metro and tunnel project. Day-to-day duties: • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing 1+ years on the tools preferred.
